So another homecoming week is here...last year I was super active with float building. I came up with the idea for the float because there were only like two people there the first day...this year it's like...meh...I did help build the frame, and I stuffed a lot of paper too, but I left early both days, mostly because I'm sick (blech)...today when I got back from float building my mom was like 'u don't look good.' I was like 'gee, thanks!' because I was feeling perfectly fine (other than a slight runny nose) for the first time in two days! When someone tells u u dont look good and ur NOT sick, you've just got to face the fact that you are ugly. ;) or just blame it on something like the hat you're wearing or the bad hair decade you're having...that works too.
but anyway...
what is new in the life of amber?
answer:
not much. Nothing exciting ever happens around here. But I am content. Better nothing exciting happen than something too exciting/scary happens...like...a bomb or something...that would be a little to much excitement for me for one day...
despite how long every school day seems to be, time is really flying by for me, which is good...and weird...because normally time flies when ur having fun...and I"m not even having fun, just really busy. I guess it just goes to show that when u get older, time flies regardless, fun or no fun...
already, weekends are nonexistant.
dont u wish u could do monday thru friday hyper-speed, and Friday evening, morph into a snail?
I would like to be a snail. I think I would appreciate the concept of time even more...
I mean think about how early u'd have to leave every morning just in order to get to school in time....
on second thought, if u were a snail u might just want to live at school and have people carry u from class to class....
but they wouldn't because you would be a snail.
they would most likely step on you and laugh.
people are cruel.
